The late summer workshop is a forum for young scientists to meet distinguished international experts. The workshop features plenary talks at the cutting edge of the discipline and a great poster exhibition. Beside the scientific program we provide room for joint leisure activities such walking or hiking, interactive games or just for chatting. Every workshop has unique topic such as Natural Organic Matter, Microplastic or Oxidative Water Treatment.

Vom 25. bis 28. September 2016 fand im Hotel Seehof in Haltern am See der 7th Late Summer Workshop der Wasserchemischen Gesellschaft statt. Das Thema lautete "Microplastics in the aquatic environment".
