The annual conference
WASSER 2025 is the central German conference that presents the latest insights on all aspects of water quality.
Professionals working in the sectors of water chemistry and water treatment as well as experts from other disciplines in the water sector meet for an intensive exchange of experience and ideas.
One focus is on personal encounters and scientific discussions of current specific challenges.
The annual conference of the Wasserchemische Gesellschaft will take place in Münster in May 2025 as a face-to-face event.
Münster
The university city of Münster in the west of Germany is known for its bicycle-friendly cityscape and is therefore also known as a cycling city. With its 320,000 inhabitants, it is one of the main centers of the federal state North Rhine-Westphalia.
A well-known landmark is the St. Paul's Cathedral from the 13th century, which is characterized by gothic and romantic elements.
The Aasee, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the WASSER 2025 venue, is a reservoir which, together with the surrounding meadows and forests, is considered an inner-city recreational area.

Sustainability
We are commited to climate protection!
In the interests of sustainability and as a contribution to reducing CO2 emissions, we recommend traveling to our events by Deutsche Bahn. You travel long-distance with 100% green electricity. In cooperation with Deutsche Bahn, the GDCh offers an exclusive offer for your comfortable arrival and departure: With the event ticket throughout Germany!
Information and booking
Only FSC-certified paper is used for our printed materials.
In addition, our printed products are produced in a climate neutral way, recognizable by the logo below:
The transparent label for climate neutral products, services and companies confirms that CO2 emissions (after reduction) have been compensated via certified climate protection projects.
The "climate neutral" label stands for transparency and guarantees the traceability of climate protection measures. The compensation process certified by the label is checked every year by TÜV Austria, an independent testing, inspection and certification company.
With our contribution, we support the climate protection project + marine protection, 1 t CO2 + 10 kg plastic worldwide (ClimatePartner-ID 10909-2209-1002, www.climatepartner.com)
In order to minimize the flood of paper, we are completely foregoing the print version of the conference proceedings. We are sure that we are also acting in your interest and that you will support our efforts towards sustainability. All participants will be able to download the proceedings in pdf format in advance of the conference.
